Passing of Harold A. "Hal" Ellis, Jr.

With great sadness, the Ellis family announces the passing of Harold A. "Hal" Ellis, Jr., Co-Founder of Grubb & Ellis Company, Chairman of Ellis Partners LLC, Founder and Chairman of the Melanoma Therapeutics Foundation.
Hal's professional achievements stand on their own. He was an innovator, a true visionary in all that he did. He continually reinvented himself and in doing so, changed the way business was done. When diagnosed with Melanoma six years ago, Hal applied this same energy to the challenge of establishing a foundation that both helps patients understand their treatment options, but also helps researchers, clinicians and physicians work more collaboratively towards developing a cure for Melanoma. His absence will be keenly felt by both his family and his community.
