Development – Testing of
new investigational compounds in humans is done in stages
in order to maximize benefit and minimize harm to patients.
All
stages of the process are conducted in close communication
with the FDA or other appropriate regulatory agencies

Need for Accelerated Development
Although a number of organizations exist that focus on, serve
to educate the public about, or assist in melanoma research,
the Melanoma Therapeutics Foundation is unique with its singular
focus on advancement of therapeutics to address melanoma as
